Welcome to Stateline Woodturners Club!
We are a community of woodturning enthusiasts dedicated to learning, creating, and sharing our craft in a welcoming and supportive environment. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced turner, our club provides opportunities to grow your skills and connect with others who share your passion. As an affiliate chapter of the American Association of Woodturners, we offer instruction on everything from the fundamentals of woodturning to advanced segmented turning techniques.
Join Us at Our Monthly Meetings!
We meet on the 2nd Saturday of each month from 9 AM to 12 PM at The Center for Nonprofits in Rogers. Each meeting features:
- A teaching demonstration led by club members or renowned guest turners.
- A bring-back raffle where members can win prizes such as wood blanks or turned items.
- A show-and-tell session to share projects and techniques.
- Time to socialize and exchange ideas with fellow woodturners.
Be sure to check our Calendar for upcoming events, special demonstrations, and classes!
Hands-On Mentoring Workshops
On the 4th Saturday of every month, we host hands-on mentoring sessions where experienced turners help members refine their techniques, sharpen tools, and troubleshoot projects. These workshops are invaluable for both beginners and seasoned turners looking to enhance their skills.
Workshops are held at various locations, including:
- The Integrated Design Lab at Northwest Arkansas Community College, which offers six Powermatic midi-lathes for hands-on learning.
- Our clubhouse at The Center for Nonprofits, equipped with three lathes for small-group instruction.
Whether you’re looking to improve your craft, share your knowledge, or simply enjoy the camaraderie of fellow turners, Stateline Woodturners Club is the place for you!
