I’m making a segmented bowl-primarily from Padauk, and trying to find another complimentary wood to mix with it. Any suggestions?
51-derful flavors! It’s actually 55 for my OCD friends. They still needed turned but they are all prepped. Thanks again Gary Olerud for your help. I found birch, maple, and walnut dowels for the handles. Woods are yellow heart, purple heart, maple, walnut, and cherry.
The President’s Challenge for July is to turn a rolling pin. My first attempt at a French style. Arkansas walnut with a mineral oil finish. Post your pictures in the comments.

Our first virtual meeting. We had 23 members online at one point. We had a tour of Ben’s shop, a show and tell session, and enjoyed catching up with each other. Next month will be a full meeting with a demonstration.

GiveCampNWA provided a great opportunity for our club to participate in a weekend camp where we completed an extreme makeover for our website. Jim King, Larry Copas, and Ray Taylor took part in this action filled event. ![]()
