Great day Eureka Springs School of the Arts for their Hands On Spring fundraiser. We were able to help patrons experience wood turning for their first time.

Great day with the Stateline Woodturners in the NWACC Integrated Design Lab. NorthWest Arkansas Community College has agreed to host the club throughout the year and in turn the club will teach woodturning classes to the public. ![]()
Todays session focused on wood preparation for making Beads of Courage Boxes for the Arkansas Childrens Hospital. These boxes will be donated to children who are patients in the hospitals. ![]()
They kids receive beads when they get treatments and need a place to collect them.
Jim Swank did a great demonstration for us last weekend and the President’s Challenge for next month is to make a rolling pin. We will put these in our Bring Back Auction to raise funds for our club.
We had a fantastic gathering after missing our party last year. Outstanding gifts, food and fellowship. We have a great family of artists and crafters.
Help the Arkansas Arts Council recognize the next Arkansas Living Treasure. Nominate a master craftsperson by Dec. 20.

It's never easy to share these messages. We will miss our friend Gary Olerud who passed away last night. Gary was a dedicated member of our club and was always willing to serve and help others learn. His woodturning pieces are world-class. RIP friend.
We will miss our friend Frank Gorishek. Frank passed away last night in hospice in Bentonville. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Maggie and their family.
