The October 8, 2016 meeting was called to order by Pres. Michael Guidry, leading the group in the
Pledge of Allegiance.
The club welcomed our guests, Brad McBride, Gene, and Peter Petersen.
A sign-uop sheet was passed around for demonstrators for 2017 for both 2nd & 4th Saturdays.
Additionally, members were reminded that the building is locked on the weekend and arriving late
could result in being locked out of the building and missing the meeting. We need volunteers to be
greeters at each meeting and make sure everyone can get into the building. Also, we need
volunteers to step up and learn our audio-video system.

segmented platter featuring a box pattern. In the Novice category the winners were L.H. Moore and
Gerald Krogman for outstanding pieces of segmented turning.
The Bring-Back Raffle winners were John Harris, Ben Johnson, Mick Hutchison, Billy McClaine., Kip
Powers, Bob Schmidz, Thurman Hatcher, Gerald Krogman, and Guy Braughler. All members were
