Annex. Also, the woodcarvers have their annual show September 10 & 11th. We will have a booth and be
performing demonstrations. We need volunteers to man the booth.
Kip and Bob volunteered to judge Show-n-Tell today.
We have an ongoing need for people to be Greeters and allow members and guests access to the building during
our meetings. Guy Braughler and Gary Olerud will be greeters in September.
We also need some people to step up and learn how to operate the Audio-Visual equipment so that Jim King doesn’
t have to do it all.
Ron East was contacted by Carter & Sons about offering a discount to club members on their line of lathe tools.
Ken made the treasurer’s report, reporting over $6500 in the bank at this time.
Discussion was had on safety issues such as the importance of wearing a face shield and an advisory tale on not
using your cell phone while operating equipment in the shop.
Winners for the Show-n-Tell were Advanced – Mick Hutchison, and Novice – Larry Copas. These gentlemen will be
judges for September.
Bring-Back Raffle winners were Mick Hutchison, Buzz Peine, Kip, Billy McElmore, John Harris, Gary Olerud, Guy

sharpening of tools, utilizing a solar-powered mobile sharpening truck.
