|February 2008 4th Saturday
4th Saturday at Mark Ost’s was threatened with inclement weather, but
was well attended none the less. We had a busy morning.
There were ongoing demonstrations throughout the morning: Arthur Duell
(spindle tools), Tom Gilge (pen turning), Kurt Bird (small bowls and termite
tool), and Harold Stoner (air brush techniques). All of these kept everyone
pretty busy, and the morning passed quickly.
Please remember to let Mark know how much we appreciate the use of his
shop and tools each month. The amount of mentoring and the opportunity
to increase our skills is fantastic. I’m sure a lot of clubs out there wish they
could have this wonderful resource for their membership.
See everyone at the club meeting, March 8.
